TESTED, EFFECTIVE AND ROCK SOLID
The Triton Pools Process
You can be confident that your dreams will become a reality with our approach to building your pool. We will guide you through the process of building your pool from start to finish. Triton Pools aims to build the highest quality pools by utilizing the best material in the industry. Your summer oasis is within reach with Triton Pools.
Phase 1
Design & Consultation
Contact Triton Pools and schedule a no cost in home design consultation. One of our design specialists will measure your backyard, inspect the elevations and discuss the size and style of pool that is right for you. We will work together to create a custom design that includes all of the necessary components and special custom features to turn your backyard into a beautiful paradise.
Phase 2
Forming, Excavation & Steel
We will layout the shape and design of your new swimming pool and begin construction. This phase will include constructing wood form boards around the perimeter and digging the hole for the shell of the pool. Steel rebar is installed to support and reinforce the concrete pool shell.
Phase 3
Plumbing & Pool Equipment
Our plumbing is all 2" pvc, every line is run independently to the equipment pad and has it's own valve. Our basic plumbing package includes 2 skimmers, one main channel drain, 2 wall returns and 3 floor returns for solar re-circulation. We install high quality Pentair pool equipment. Most of our pools have a quad DE filter, multiport and salt chlorine generator. Many of our pools also have an Easy Touch control panel and Screen Logic smart phone remote control system.
Phase 4
Shotcrete
This is the most important process of your entire project. Most pool companies install inferior gunite pool shells because they are less expensive. Triton Pools installs only “shotcrete” pool shells. Shotcrete consists of stone, cement, sand and water which is premixed at the batch plant, is certified at 4500 PSI strength and is pneumatically applied using compressed air. Shotcrete is the best and strongest material available to construct your pool.
Phase 5
Tile & Coping
Shortly after the concrete shell is in, Triton Pools will install the coping and tiles of your choice. Most of our pools have natural stone or synthetic stone coping, we try to avoid the standard brick coping that was popular many years ago. Your custom tile selection will be installed beneath the coping and at the water line. This is when things really start to come together.
Phase 6
Pool Decking
We will layout and install your pool deck and patios per plan. Pool decks can be constructed from concrete, stamped concrete, natural stone or custom pavers. Our pool decks are custom designed to look good and to provide you with a place to relax or lay in the sun.
Phase 7
Custom Features
At this point, Triton Pools will provide and install the custom features that make your pool unique. Permanent hardscape such as; waterfalls, dive rocks and landscape boulders are brought in and set in place. Water features, fire features, water slides and diving boards can be installed at this point as well.
Phase 8
Quartz Aggregate Interior
Our team of professionals will apply a permanent quartz aggregate finish to coat the interior surface of the shotcrete shell. The quartz aggregate pool finish comes in many beautiful colors and is far superior to the standard white plaster finish that is found in many older pools.
Phase 9
Start Up & Orientation
Triton Pools will fill the pool with water, start up your equipment and program your remote control system. This is the time to ask any questions about the operation and maintenance of your new pool. Now, it is finally time to swim!
